Dunlop Galactica OS Nisse Padel Racket (2026)

£120

The Dunlop Galactica OS Nisse padel racket is a limited-edition round control racket of about 360 g, with a 3K carbon face, Tri-Max frame reinforcement and a rough Extra Grip surface, for players who value placement and spin over power. The artwork is by Nisse, and retailers describe a numbered run of 500 rackets.

Under the paint it is a Galactica OS, so the build is what you would expect from the round Galactica. Sellers split on whether it is advanced or intermediate to advanced.

What the Galactica OS Nisse is

Tennisnuts lists a round head of about 360 g with a 10 g tolerance, a 38 mm profile, a 3K carbon face described as slightly softer and more responsive, Tri-Max reinforcement for frame stability, a rough Extra Grip surface for spin and a Control Holes pattern for accuracy. It is labelled control focus and part of an exclusive NISSE LTD collection.

Retailers say Nisse is a German artist whose work draws on street art, and that the racket is limited to 500 numbered units. Treat the number as seller copy. The spec is consistent across the listings we checked.

Table of what sellers say about the Dunlop Galactica OS by Nisse: round shape, about 360 g, medium or even balance, 3K carbon face, advanced or intermediate to advanced level and a 500-unit edition

Nisse edition or the standard Galactica OS?

The 2025 Galactica OS is a round 3K carbon racket at about 365 g and the OS Lite is about 355 g, both with Tri-Max and an EVA Pro core. The Nisse edition sits between them at about 360 g, so if you do not care about the artwork you can buy the standard OS and lose nothing on the build.

A round head has a big, central sweet spot, which is why this is a control racket. You give up some smash power, and you gain forgiveness on the defensive shots that decide club matches.

Table comparing the round Dunlop Galactica OS rackets: OS by Nisse 2026 at about 360 g, OS 2025 at about 365 g and OS Lite 2025 at about 355 g, all with 3K carbon

Where it sits in the Dunlop range

For a lighter, more attacking Dunlop, the Galactica Lite is a hybrid and the FX Lite is a diamond. The Megamax is the plainer round racket for beginners. More round options from other brands are on our control padel rackets page.

Details from retailer listings.

Who should skip the Galactica OS Nisse

Attackers who want a racket to finish points, and anyone who wants a round carbon racket only for the build, since the edition adds nothing to it. Our advanced padel rackets and intermediate padel rackets pages list firmer alternatives.

Add fresh padel balls, an overgrip from our padel grips range, proper padel shoes and a racket protector. Our guide to choosing a padel racket covers weight and shape, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Not for you if

You want power from the racket, or you only care about the build and not the limited artwork.
