Oxdog Hyper Woman Air Padel Racket

£195

The Oxdog Hyper Woman Air is a 345g teardrop built to be held for a full session, not just swung hard for a few points: a slim handle, medium balance and a medium foam core that trades some of the Hyper line's punch for manoeuvrability at the net.

It's part of Oxdog's Woman Air idea, a genuinely lighter build rather than a unisex racket in a different colour. Smaller hands and lighter players feel it fastest; so does anyone whose wrist has had enough of a heavier head by the third set.

How the Hyper Woman Air plays

Padelful's 2026 scores tell a clear story: power 7.2, control 8.1, rebound 8.2, manoeuvrability 8.8, sweet spot 8.3. Against the Hyper Pro+ 2.0, the firmest racket in the same shape family, this one gives up well over a point of power in exchange for better manoeuvrability and a noticeably wider sweet spot.

That shows up on court as fast hands at the net and a forgiving response on bandejas and víboras, with Padelful noting easy, comfortable defence from the back. The cost: passive blocks against a hard-hit ball lack authority, and a flat smash needs real technique rather than relying on the frame. Padelful is blunt about it: not a racket for anyone chasing a hard feel.

Choosing between Oxdog's three lightest rackets

If a 345g to 350g Oxdog is what you're after, shape and balance matter more than the number on the box, because all three sit within 5g of each other. This one keeps the Hyper's teardrop head with a medium balance. The Ultimate Woman Air is the diamond version of the same idea, also at a medium balance. The Ultimate Pro Light is a diamond too, but with a high balance built for attacking rather than comfort.

Pick the shape first: teardrop (this racket) for an easier, more forgiving all-rounder, diamond for more pop on the smash once your technique catches up. Our teardrop padel rackets page and diamond padel rackets page line up each shape across every brand we stock.

The handle, and a weight question we won't dodge

The slim handle is the point here, built for smaller hands rather than padded out to match Oxdog's unisex grips. Most Oxdog rackets also carry a removable weight screwed into the butt cap (Oxdog calls the system RBS), and sources disagree on this exact model: one retailer's spec sheet gives it as 6g, while the wider Oxdog range (and our own research on the Hyper Pro+ 2.0) uses 8g as the norm. We haven't found a brand source to settle it, so we're stating both rather than picking one to sound certain.

Either way, taking the weight out moves the balance further towards the head and lightens the swing further; leaving it in keeps a touch more mass near your hand. An overgrip adds roughly 4 to 5g back at the handle if the racket ever feels too light once you've broken it in.

Who should buy the Hyper Woman Air?

Players who want a genuinely light, easy-swinging teardrop: smaller hands, lighter players, beginners moving up from a round racket who aren't ready for a heavier frame, and intermediates who'd rather win the point with placement than brute force. Our women's padel rackets page lines up light rackets from every brand we stock, and best padel racket for intermediate players covers the level more broadly.

Not for you if

You rely on the racket for pace on the smash, or you're an advanced player who wants to feel every gram going into the shot. The Hyper Pro+ 2.0 is the same shape with real punch behind it; our carbon padel rackets page has firmer options from every brand.

What to pair with the Hyper Woman Air

A slim handle still needs a tacky overgrip once the factory one wears; the Oxdog Gold Pro overgrips keep the bag one brand, or browse every padel grip. Fit the Oxdog No1 frame protector before your first session; the full padel racket protector range covers other brands.

For balls, a tube of Oxdog Boost+ matches the racket, and our padel balls guide explains how quickly a tube loses its bounce. The Oxdog X Thermo backpack carries it along with your kit, or see every padel bag. Finish with a pair of padel shoes built for sand-filled turf. For the full range, our padel racket hub covers every brand and shape, and the guide to choosing a padel racket explains balance and core hardness from scratch.

Oxdog Hyper Woman Air Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Oxdog Hyper Woman Air only for women?

Oxdog markets it in its Woman Air series, built around a slimmer handle and a lighter 345g build, but nothing stops a lighter man or a junior moving up to an adult racket from playing with it. It's the feel and weight that suit you, not the name.

Has the Oxdog Hyper Woman Air changed for 2027?

We can't confirm a 2027 edition exists. Every source we found, including a 2026-dated listing pulled from oxdog.com, names the current model the "Hyper Woman Air 2.0" and dates it 2026. Our own catalogue title carries a 2027 we haven't been able to verify; the specs on this page are the confirmed 2026 build.

What's the difference between the Hyper Woman Air and the Ultimate Woman Air?

Shape. The Hyper Woman Air is a teardrop at a medium balance; the Ultimate Woman Air is Oxdog's diamond shape, also at a medium balance. Teardrop suits an easier all-court game; diamond puts more weight behind the smash once your technique is there.

How heavy is the Oxdog Hyper Woman Air?

Oxdog lists 345g, with a ±10g tolerance between individual rackets. A removable weight in the handle cap adjusts the balance slightly; sources disagree on whether it's 6g or 8g on this model, which we've stated honestly rather than guessed at.

Is the Oxdog Hyper Woman Air good for intermediate players?

Yes, and it suits strong beginners too. Padelful rates its sweet spot and manoeuvrability highly, which forgives mistimed contact, but it gives little back on power, so advanced players who want to finish points overhead usually prefer the Hyper Pro+ 2.0.
