Head Extreme Motion 2025 Padel Racket

£141.94

The Head Extreme Motion 2025 padel racket is HEAD's 360 g attacking diamond from the 2025 season: unidirectional carbon on the face, Power Foam inside, a 270 mm balance and HEAD's rough Extreme Spin finish, for intermediate and advanced players who want to finish points from the net.

On HEAD's own sheets it matches the 2026 Extreme Motion line for line. If last season's colours don't bother you, you're getting the same specification.

What changed for 2026? Nothing on the sheet

Tennis Warehouse Europe reproduces HEAD's sheets for both seasons, and they agree on weight, shape, face, core and finish: 360 g with a 10 g tolerance, a diamond head, UD carbon over Power Foam and the rough Extreme Spin surface. The 2025 sheet gives the balance as 270 mm; the 2026 sheet we have only says high. HEAD's 2025 product page describes the face as a carbon and fibreglass weave, which is the one detail that doesn't match, so we've noted both.

Padelful has reviewed the Extreme Motion 2026 and scores it 9.6 for control and 8.5 for power. It hasn't published a 2025 review, so treat those numbers as the closest guide rather than a measurement of this racket.

How a 360 g carbon diamond plays

The diamond head and 270 mm balance put the sweet spot high and the weight towards the tip, which is what you want on a smash or a bandeja from above the head. UD carbon is stiff, so the ball leaves quickly when you swing through it, and the rough Extreme Spin finish gives it something to grip for a vibora or a kick smash.

The flip side is the same as on any carbon diamond. Low, rushed balls near your feet need cleaner contact than a teardrop asks for, and a firm face sends more of a mishit up the arm. That's why HEAD pitches it at intermediate and advanced players rather than newcomers.

Where it sits among HEAD's diamonds

On the sheets we have, HEAD's attacking diamonds sit between 350 and 370 g and 265 to 272 mm, and the Extreme Motion is right in the middle. The fibreglass Extreme Team 2025 is the same weight with a lower 265 mm balance and a softer face. The Extreme One is 10 g lighter on 12K carbon. The 370 g Extreme Pro 2025 is the heavier carbon option from the same year, and the Coello Motion 2025 is HEAD's other 360 g diamond of that season.

Not for you if

You are in your first year of padel, you defend more than you attack, or you have a sore elbow. A teardrop or a fibreglass diamond such as the Extreme Team will be kinder.

Setting up for attack

A rough face rewards a secure hand, so fit a tacky overgrip such as HEAD Prime Tour; padel grips has the alternatives. A diamond meets the glass with its widest point first, so tape the top of the frame with HEAD protection tape.

The Head Pro S+ tube is HEAD's firmer ball for cold courts and suits an attacking racket; padel balls compares the rest. Carry it in a Head Tour L bag, or browse padel bags and padel shoes. More shapes like this are on diamond padel rackets, older seasons at a lower price on padel racket sale, the full range on padel rackets, and the guide to choosing a padel racket explains balance and shape.

Head Extreme Motion 2025 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Head Extreme Motion 2025 the same as the 2026?

On HEAD's sheets, yes in every published spec: 360 g, diamond, UD carbon, Power Foam and the Extreme Spin finish. The colours change, and the 2026 sheet we have does not give a balance in millimetres.

Is the Head Extreme Motion 2025 suitable for intermediate players?

For strong intermediates who attack from the net, yes. HEAD aims it at intermediate and advanced players. If you are still learning to defend off the walls, a teardrop will forgive more.

Head Extreme Motion 2025 or Coello Motion 2025: which should I buy?

Both are 360 g HEAD diamonds on Power Foam from the same season. The Extreme Motion uses a UD carbon face with HEAD's rough Extreme Spin finish; the Coello Motion uses Carbon Hybrid HS. Choose on face feel and on which name and design you prefer.

What balance is the Head Extreme Motion 2025?

HEAD's 2025 sheet gives 270 mm from the butt, a high, head-heavy balance typical of an attacking diamond.

How do I protect a carbon diamond like the Extreme Motion?

Tape the top of the frame, where a diamond hits the glass first, keep it in a cover, and keep it out of hot cars, which soften the foam core.
